Below is a description of the private studio with private outdoor space: The living space is designed for comfort and rest. It includes a new leather couch with two large recliners, tables, a large desk, a rocker, a new ipong chair, bookshelves, and plenty of shelving for your personal items. There is a 50" Smart TV with the addition of Spectrum Cable above the gas fireplace. In addition, we offer a Private Guest WiFi. The small kitchenette includes a table & 2 chairs, a small refrigerator & a large refrigerator for extended stay guests, a small convection microwave oven (operates as an oven and as a microwave), a Keurig coffee maker with coffee or tea, a drip coffee maker, sink with garbage disposal, toaster, electric skillet, 2 single induction burners with pots and pans,and other essentials. If you enjoy nature you will see plenty of wildlife as the outside wall is floor to ceiling windows. We love birds and intentionally seek to bring them in. So there will be binoculars for you to use should you so choose. Weekly if not daily you will see deer in addition to the other common wildlife. If you have children, there is a trampoline, a swing set which includes a baby swing and sandbox that we would be thrilled for them to enjoy. We have a pack in play for an infant or toddler as well as baby jumper, changing set, play mat with mobile, baby blankets, baby towel, & more. We have an extra long twin mattress & plenty of bedding near to washer and dryer that you can bring out for a child to sleep on. We love nature and flowers and so depending on the time of year you will be surrounded by flowers, gardens, and the beauty of nature. Your walkway is lined with roses, hydrangeas and others flowers. Behind our wooded property is newly built Top Golf. You will see the poles & nets as you come down our street. Daily you will hear birds and see deer meander through the woods or yard. Mornings (and early afternoons on weekdays) are quiet in our wooded environment. You will hear music & excited people noise starting in the afternoons & evenings with weekends being louder than weekdays. You will not hear music & people noise when inside the studio apartment. In the warm weather when you want to sit outside you can utilize the outdoor speakers so that you can listen to your own choice of music while you enjoy the outdoors. While we cannot offer smoking inside the studio but you are welcome to smoke on the patio or at the fire pit. We are just off of the east side of the new Gemini Exit @ I-71. We are literally 3-5 mins to Top Golf, IKEA, Cabela's & Polaris Mall. With no traffic (outside of the rush hours which are 7-8 am and 5-6:15pm) we are 5 minutes off of I-71. During rush hour expect that to be anywhere between 10-15 minutes. We are a couple in our early 60's. We love family, friends, and meeting new people. Addison works for an insurance company in downtown Columbus. Teresa is a mental health therapist & coach for individuals & marriages. We like to offer people a private peaceful place to retreat and feel safe while traveling this includes having a professionally monitored security system including outdoor cameras that are turned off when you are enjoying the patio. We hope the comfort of our space will help you to feel at home and enjoy yourself. We are obsessive clean freaks so everything (including light switches & knobs) are cleaned and sanitized after each guest. We tend to give guests their space and so if you see us it may just be when we are watering or perhaps shoveling the snow from the walkway & driveway. This home is located right near Polaris, OH which is home to one of the biggest shopping malls in the area, lots of restaurants, great bars and close to a few parks for some outdoor activities. It is also about 10-15 minute drive from The Ohio State University, Short North District, Arena District and downtown Columbus where year round, there are many fantastic events taking place. In a very quiet area as it is situated in the corner of the street. At night, sleeping will be no problem at all. It is a very short ride to many shopping stores, fantastic restaurants of all kinds and bars if you would like to socialize at night. Kroger grocery store/CVS are also very close by in case any essentials are needed. Guests will have access to the garage, their own room, bathroom, living room and kitchen. The living room is very comfortable where you can enjoy a great movie or show while having a nice meal and beverage to go along. Wifi/washer/dryer/ironing board/Netflix/YouTubeTv/Amazon Prime/Keurig coffee machine/heat and air conditioners will all be provided. Along with free coffee, complimentary snacks and fruit will be provided. I am very knowledgeable about the area and love to give great recommendations on shopping, eating, drinking and entertainment if you are new to the area or are curious on what there is to do. I will always try to meet my guests when they arrive to show them around and go over any questions but if I am not able, I will provide an access code to the lockbox so that you will get the key. When we have friends over (typically a Friday or Saturday night), we'll want that bathroom to be tidy since it is possible our friends will use that restroom. *we also share the back entrance (we take a left into our home, you go down and to the right for your apartment). We are usually up and letting the dogs out that back door between 6 am and 8 am and let the dogs out before we go to bed (generally between 9 pm and 11 pm). The apartment is not sound-proof, so if you are a light sleeper, our apartment may not be a perfect arrangement for you. *If you leave the door unlocked when you're gone, we'll assume that you don't mind us entering (to drop off some pillows or put away linens we've laundered, etc.), If the door is locked while you're away, we only enter in an emergency (i.e. electrical malfunction, flooding, etc.) *Since this is a non-smoking unit, we request if anyone does smoke, they do so at least 50 feet from the house, and discard butts offsite or in an odor-free container/package in the green garbage can outback. *Doors secure from inside as well for additional privacy or for use when you're sleeping. These latches prevent someone from entering even with a key (like a hotel latch) *Since it is a sliding barn door entrance, please note that there is a sliver of a view of the room where the sliding door rolls over the top of the other door (similar to a bathroom stall). So IF someone were to stand right up against the door, they could see a small sliver of the living area (but not the sleeping area which also has a privacy curtain). *Parking is limited to & free on the street. *There is no kitchen, but the kitchenette has a compact fridge (probably 3 or 4 cu. ft. with no freezer), a microwave, a 3-in-1 coffeemaker, toaster oven and hot plate, and a hot/cold water dispenser. There is no running water there...just the sink in the bathroom...more than enough if you tend to eat out and just want to warm food or make a breakfast from time to time, but if you like to cook for real, the small space and lack of amenities would be frustrating. *There is a fully refundable deposit of $150 for one dog plus an additional $50 per additional dog. Let us know if you'll be bringing a furry friend so we can make arrangements for that. *Please ask for your salt spa gift card if you would like to take advantage of your free salt spa visit. There is a traditional coffee maker and tea kettle provided with coffee, tea, cream and some snacks for your morning routine. The bathroom with natural window light has plenty of fluffy towels, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner for your shower needs. Hairdryer is in the bottom drawer under the sink. To turn on the shower, please, slightly pull the handle to yourself, left and right for hot and cold water. All bedding I use to do the full and queen size beds is 500 thread counts. That is why I kindly ask to use provided washcloths to remove your make up. Stained bedding will need to be replaced and is the reason for forfeited security deposit. The iron and ironing board are in the room. The entry to the house is keyless, that way you don't need to carry keys with you. The unique entry code is provided before your arrival. You are welcome to stay here and have a wonderful time in Columbus! The bicycles are available if you want to get around neighborhood that way or simply to take a ride in the Olentangy trail that runs closeby. The key to unlock bicycles and the tire pump are by the front door next to the TV. Feel free to borrow books or board games during your stay. The Wi-Fi is provided as well, the password is on top of the guest book. HDMI channel on TV has Netflix, or simply log into your preferred channel via ROKU, just remember to log out after you leave. Call or text any time throughout your stay. Please address any questions about the house within first 24 hours of your arrival, so I can fix them and you can enjoy your stay. This is the whole house rental. I am not at the house during your stay. North High St. bus stop is just a 7 minutes walk from the house. The bus number 2 takes you Downtown, OSU campus, Columbus Convention Center, Nationwide Arena in approximately 20-30 minutes and anywhere else in Columbus via transfer. The bus schedule can be found on COTA website or in the welcome book in the house. So you don't need a car to get around. Uber is reliable and affordable. If you are returning late Uber will take you here from downtown for about $10-$14. Parking. If you travel by the car, there is plenty of space to safely park in the private spot in the back of the house or on the street. Columbus has a very popular bicycle share program (CoGo, you can download the app) with convenient locations all over Columbus. Columbus also has a car share program called Car2Go (download the app for locations/info). You can sign up for a membership online prior to your trip. If you have a Car2Go membership in another city, it is valid in Columbus. It is a beautiful, cheerful, friendly, safe and quiet neighborhood 10-15 minutes drive from downtown and OSU campus, and, the lovely Como park, Park of Roses with bike/walk trail right out of my back door. Perfect location for getting an urban fix for yourself, and then coming home and relaxing in a quiet area. Lovely 2-story, 1BR apartment located in the South Clintonville/North University District area, minutes from OSU or downtown. It overlooks the Glen Echo Ravine, is comfortably furnished, and is ideal for a single or couple who are visiting Columbus. The apartment entrance is behind a 2-car garage and has an entry deck and covered entry porch. The space is on two levels, with an eat-in kitchen on the entry level, and a living room, bedroom, and bath on the upper level. The kitchen space and the living room space both have wonderful views of the ravine greenery with its many birds and other wildlife. The kitchen level has easy access to the entry deck that also overlooks the ravine and has seating so you can relax outdoors. The eat-in kitchen has a 24” electric stove, a bottom-freezer refrigerator, a microwave, and generous counter and cabinet space. It’s fully supplied with dishes, pans, and silverware, and has a toaster and a drip coffee maker. There is a stacked washer-dryer unit nearby in a small closet with a louvered door. The eat-in kitchen is furnished with a 2’x5’ table with seating for five, and it has a comfortable sofa bench under a large picture window. The window has a crack in it, but the glass is held fimly in place by the frame. It's somewhat unattractive, but it doesn't pose any problem. There is a wall-mounted 28” smart TV which can be watched while seated at the table or seated on the bench or standing in the kitchen. Upstairs there is a living room with sofa, arm chairs, coffee table, 40” TV, and desk: a bedroom with a queen-sized bed; and a bathroom with a shower/tub. The floors are hardwood, except for the bedroom and stairs which are carpeted, and the bath that is tiled. Linens are provided for the bedroom, bath, and kitchen. The apartment has central AC and gas heating, and has Cable and wireless internet service. There is a no-smoking/no-pet rental policy, but it is not suitable for people with pet allergies because of the presence of several cats in an adjacent apartment. It is not suitable for children. There is one assigned off-street parking space. Additional on-street parking is available in front of the building except between the hours of 4-6pm on weekdays. During those hours, on-street parking is available on the opposite side of the street. I am retired from OSU and I live next door to this apartment, so I am available to solve any problems pretty quickly (unless I am out of town). This is a wonderful neighborhood with a mix of rental units and private residences. There is a ravine park within easy walking distance and an assortment of shops and restaurants on Indianola. It’s a quick drive to High Street and its many shops (including a Giant Eagle supermarket and a CVS pharmacy), and access to either the I-71 or the 315 freeway is quite close. A city bus line runs in front of the building. It travels primarily south and north and will easily get you to downtown or to Worthington, with transfers available to other directions. An OSU bus line runs just south of the apartment with a stop about 4 blocks away, at Clinton and Indianola. To avoid creating a disturbance to residents of a living space below this one, please refrain from loud or boisterous behavior inside the apartment, particularly between the hours of 11pm and 7am, . Guest visitors (3 or 4 max) are welcome for short periods (e.g. for a meal, coffee, movie, conversation, etc.) but they should depart by 11pm. Guest visitors should park on the street and should not bring pets or children.

It has a large shady ravine-facing yard and has an off-street parking area on a gravel driveway suitable for 2 cars. It’s a short walk to numerous restaurants, two supermarkets, a CVS, a post office, and the High Street bus lines. The house has a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Bath, and Laundry on the first floor, and a large Bedroom with a queen-size bed on the second floor. There is a second bedroom with a set of twin beds on the second floor that is available for an extra fee upon request. The Living Room and Dining Room have knotty pine floors, and the Bedrooms are carpeted. The Bathroom is off the Dining Room, at the foot of the steps to the Bedroom. The steps are somewhat steep, but they are carpeted and there is a solid handrail. The Kitchen is nicely-equipped with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc., and has a 24” electric range, a side-by-side refrigerator, and a dishwasher. It also has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, and blender. It includes a comfortable built-in sofa and a small 'table for two'. There is a washer-dryer unit in a space adjacent to the Kitchen. The Bath has a toilet, a lavatory, and a tub with shower. Towels and bed sheets are provided. The house has gas heat and central AC. It is also equipped with wireless internet and cable TV. There is a 43” smart TV in the Living Room. The apartment has hardwood floors, wood panel doors, double-hung windows with storm windows and screens, and it has the original 1926 bath and kitchen fixtures. The kitchen has a full-sized gas stove, a small built-in microwave, a dark wood countertop, a hidden drop-down breakfast table, and a hidden drop-down ironing board. It is equipped with everything you need (toaster, coffee maker, plates, glasses, cups, pots, pans, silverware, and an assortment of utensils) to cook any sort of meal. The adjoining hall space functions as a continuation of the kitchen and contains a full-sized refrigerator, a narrow hutch, and a utility/pantry closet. Linens are provided for the bedroom, the bath, and the kitchen, with extras stored inside the utility closet. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the bathroom has single-handle shower and lavatory faucets. The living room has a decorative fireplace and a 40' Smart TV. There is an elegant formal dining room with a small antique desk and wireless internet service for your laptop. The apartment temperature is always comfortable thanks to the presence of a thermostat in the Dining Room that allows you to control the heat and AC settings, and thanks to the ceiling fans in both the Living Room and the Bedroom. Guests will have one designated parking space at the back of the apartment in a carport/garage structure. This structure is somewhat small and will accommodate most cars as long as you pull in straight and not at an angle. THE APARTMENT The apartment can easily accommodate both small and large groups. There is WIFI throughout the duplex and central AC for the first two floors and window AC units for the 3rd floor. All special event details must be approved prior to stay. The first floor level has a small kitchen leading into the large dining room. Kitchen comes equipped with all things needed to cook a decent meal (pots, pans, plates, etc.) and has some basic cooking staples (ketchup, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee, tea, etc.). Dining room has seating for 6. The living area, separated by the stairs, has cable TV and plenty of seating! The connected front room has double doors to close off the room for privacy (if used as a bedroom) and had ample space for a queen air bed (linens provided) and a half bathroom. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and a covered, outdoor rear porch with seating area. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed (we routinely get compliments on this!) and plenty of closet space. The bedrooms are decent sizes and can easily fit a pack-n-play if needed. Please note*** The rear bedroom has the stairway access to the 3rd floor and the door to the outdoor covered porch. The bathroom has double sinks and a bathtub. Plenty of towels, washcloths, a hair dryer, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided. The third floor is huge and has 3 comfortable queen beds- 1 bed is is one small room and 2 beds are in a loft style room. There are two window A/C units to help regulate the temperature on the 3rd floor during the summer months.
